This unique Hinduism is formed as a combination of existing local beliefs and Hindu influences from mainland Southeast Asia and South Asia.

  • Spa guests must be 17 years of age. Proof of age may be required.

Nyepi/Day of Silence

  • To mark the Balinese-Hindu New Year, the Balinese celebrate an annual ‘Day of Silence’ known as Nyepi. It is a wonderful time to visit the island, for guests who are interested in the unique traditions that underpin Balinese-Hinduism. A spectacular procedure of ceremonies, parades of great bamboo monsters, and fireworks occur on the Eve of Nyepi, followed by a day of total silence and seclusion when the Balinese will pray and meditate to cleanse the island of evil spirits. The next Nyepi Day will be ‎28 March 2017. In accordance with local regulations, all visitors must remain within the hotel property from midnight March 28th to early morning on March 29th. All facilities at AYANA and RIMBA Jimbaran Bali will be open and operational including the Spas, Aquatonic Pool, Tennis Pavilion, golf putting course, swimming pools, Kids Clubs as well as restaurants (except Kisik Seafood Bar & Grill, Kubu Beach and Rock Bar which will be closed on March 28th). The complimentary resort shuttle that operates between AYANA and RIMBA will also remain in operation on this day, to enable guests to use the facilities across the entire resort. Cancellation Policy

Reception

  • Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled treatment time. Arriving late will shorten your Spa treatment. Remember, your treatment must end on time to prevent further delays, regardless of how late you start. Depending on the type of treatment(s) you have chosen, you may be asked to fill out our Spa Health or Beauty Questionnaire. Please take the time to answer all the questions thoroughly and alert our Spa Receptionist/Coordinator to any medical concerns and/or physical ailments you may have.

Pregnancy/Menstrual Cycle

  • Pregnancy You may want to avoid treatments using deep pressure and hydrotherapy treatments involving heat. Please inform our Spa Receptionist/Coordinator of your condition upon scheduling your treatment so that we can assist you in selecting the treatment(s) which are most appropriate for you. Menstrual Cycle Ladies in their cycle are kindly requested not to use the Aquatonic Pool. Your Aquatonic privilege may be deferred to another day.

Prior to Treatment

  • We kindly advise that you leave any valuables and jewelry locked securely in the safety deposit boxes provided in your room or at spa reception. Please do not leave valuables in your locker. For your ease and comfort, we ask that you disrobe completely for your body treatment(s). Disposable underwear and a bath robe will be provided for your use. Our therapists are trained to appropriately drape you for your privacy.

Smoking/Alcohol

  • Smoking and Alcoholic beverages are not permitted in the spa. It is recommended that you refrain from consuming alcohol within 8 hours of your treatment.

Respect for other Guests

  • Our spa environment is one of tranquility and relaxation, so please respect the right to peace and privacy for other Spa guests. The use of cellular phones and electronic devices is prohibited within the Spa.
