Ayana Resort and Spa, BALI Awarded HACCP Certification

JIMBARAN, BALI (January 2019) – Nineteen restaurants and bars at AYANA Resort and Spa, BALI have been awarded the prestigious Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point System (HACCP) certification in Indonesia. The HACCP certification is highly regarded in the hotel and food industry. A recommended control system for the hygiene of a food products, HACCP is a prevention-based system to ensure food safety and hygiene. The rules associated with HACCP are adopted internationally as the basis for all discussions on food safety and prevention against potential dangers including food poisoning and the presence of chemicals and foreign particles.

Day of Silence : Experience One of The World's Most Unique Cultural Events!

Jimbaran, BALI, January 2019 – Nyepi, which falls on the 7th of March this year, is one of the most important days in the Balinese calendar, and one of the world’s most unique cultural events. Over a 24-hour period the entire island of Bali comes to a halt in order to participate in an island-wide purification ceremony. From 06:00 on 7th March until 06:00 on 8th March, lights are forbidden, the airport comes to a standstill with no flights allowed in or out, shops close, machinery and vehicle usage is banned, no work is allowed, and people across the island cannot leave their homes and hotels.
