Conservation is at the heart of AYANA Komodo by working closely with the local community in support of sustainable development and education. For every room enjoyed by visitors just like you, AYANA pledges 1 USD to fund the continued protection of Komodo National Park.

AYANA understands that caring for the ocean isn’t an easy job, therefore, the resort has introduced resident Marine Biologist Lee Miles. Lee will study the reef’s biodiversity and join guests on designated excursions as well as providing education and awareness on protecting the ocean and marine life through regular workshops and presentations.

AYANA's commitment to sustainability begins with our support of the local people by offering comprehensive hospitality training and fair wages resulting in a healthy island economy. We donate to local schools and organize onsite educational visits to create awareness around issues such as plastic and marine pollution. Ocean-to-table is at the heart of our culinary philosophy by sourcing Indonesia's freshest fish and shellfish from local fishermen, as well as cultivating our very own seaweed farm to use as a healthy ingredient in green salads and creamy desserts.
