And a quiet tip from us: if you can travel outside the June and July school holidays, you will find the adults-focused pools and the sunset spots noticeably calmer. Those weeks are wonderful for families but they are also when the resort books out earliest, so couples after a peaceful stay often do better in the shoulder months either side.
