Pink Beach
One of only seven pink sand beaches in the world, where rosy shorelines meet some of Komodo's richest coral reefs.
Pink Beach, known locally as Pantai Merah, is one of only seven pink-sand beaches in the world. The color comes from tiny red-shelled organisms on the fringing reef, washed ashore and mixed with crushed coral. The water is calm and shallow, and the reef sits just a short swim out. Snorkel over the coral, paddle a kayak or stand-up board along the shoreline, or simply stretch out on the sand and watch the bay.
