Taka Makassar
A luminous white sandbank rising from turquoise water — one of Komodo's most surreal and stunning natural formations.
A half-day built around two of Komodo's best swims. The boat first stops at Taka Makasar, a thin white sandbank that sits just above the waterline — good for photos and a quick swim — before heading to Manta Point, where manta rays feed and glide close enough to snorkel alongside.
The last stop is Siaba Island, known for calm, clear water and resident sea turtles grazing over the reef. Club sandwiches, water, soft drinks, snacks, towels, and snorkeling gear are provided, with a lifeguard and boat engineer on board. Book ahead; the group is capped at ten.
