Nyepi at AYANA Bali
Season's Greetings
The annual Balinese Day of Silence
Nyepi is a day when Bali falls into silence—no traffic, no bright lights, and no everyday noise—offering a rare moment for reflection and renewal.
At AYANA Bali, this sacred day is both peacefully quiet and rich in Balinese culture. As one of the only resorts where you can see the Ogoh-Ogoh parade on site, AYANA lets you experience this powerful tradition up close, then embrace the quiet with soothing wellness programs and simple, screen-free family time.
Framed by ocean views and tropical gardens, Nyepi at AYANA is a serene and meaningful way to pause, reconnect, and begin the new year with a clear mind and refreshed spirit.
Ogoh-ogoh Parade at AYANA
On the eve of Nyepi, join one of Bali’s most striking traditions as Ogoh-ogoh giants come to life across the resort.
As sunset approaches, a blessing ceremony sets the tone, followed by a colorful Ogoh-ogoh parade symbolizing the cleansing of negative energies before the Balinese New Year. Guests are invited to walk alongside the procession, capture photos, and feel the spiritual energy of this powerful ritual.
With the island preparing to enter its Day of Silence, the evening’s drums, torches, and chants offer a rare glimpse into Balinese culture, right at your doorstep at AYANA Bali.
