  • Reserve the set-pieces early. A floating breakfast, a private picnic on the sand or in the garden, the cocktail masterclass, an hour with a photographer — the moments worth planning are best arranged before you arrive, through My Reservation or the AYANA App.
  • Come early for the sunset. Rock Bar is at its finest an hour before the sun drops — and everyone knows it, so arrive ahead of the golden-hour crowd. House guests are waved through first.
  • Choose your season. The dry months, roughly April to October, give the clearest sunsets; the green season is quieter and more private, with the odd afternoon shower to watch from the pool.
  • Catch the high tide. The adults-only Ocean Beach Pool is at its most cinematic when the sea breaks just beside it — your butler or the concierge will know the day's timing.
  • Getting here. AYANA sits around 20 to 30 minutes from the airport (DPS), and once you are on the estate a complimentary buggy takes you everywhere — most couples never feel the need to leave.
